We are currently seeking a Technical Engineer to join our Technical Division in Cairo. As a Technical Engineer you will be responsible to provide clear and concise drawings for the team and to produce detailed working drawing.


Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:


  • Attending technical design meetings with designer & Coordinating with project and production team.
  • Develop designs in the design development stage for projects up to final design stages.
  • Produce detailed shop drawings with guides, materials, finishes and specs.
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants to ensure that the design requirements are included in the drawings.
  • Proven ability to work independently on small projects or assists senior engineers on larger projects.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior and Furniture Design from Applied Arts with a minimum of 3-6 years of experience.
  • Previous experience gained within wood factory technical office or a Consultancy Firm and within the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
  • Good experience in furniture and fixed joinery technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture construction.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural woodworking.
  • Knowledge of variety of construction and finish materials including woods, laminate, metal, plastic and fabrics.
  • BIM software such as Revit Architecture (A MUST) and AutoCAD 2D is required.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
